Canadian Family Class Sponsorship

Family Sponsorship allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada to sponsor:

1Spouses or common-law partners
Considering that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recognize the importance to keep families and loved ones together, family reunification continues to be a priority for the government. Thus, the processing time for spouse sponsorship applications was recently reduced from 26 to 12 months.

You can sponsor your spouse or common-law partner if you meet the following criteria:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
• You are able to prove that you’re not receiving social assistance for reasons other than a disability.
• You can provide for the basic needs of any persons you want to sponsor.

Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are already living with their spouses in Canada can apply to sponsor them through the inland spousal sponsorship. Inland spousal sponsorship gives applicants the ability to continue living in Canada while their application for permanent residence is processed.

The process of making the Canadian immigration authorities believe that your relationship is genuine can be challenging. Lack of supporting documentation may result in the delay or rejection of your visa application. Therefore, contact our team who has strong experience in this area and understand how to get it right. We will guide you through the entire process of sponsoring your significant other and maximize the chances of a positive decision on your application.
